From concept to commissioning

With tool-making services from Weischer you receive the entire process chain, from concept development to commissioning of the tools, at your premises or in our technical centre. The process begins with the concept phase, in which we work with you to find the best solution for your product. We then develop and design the corresponding prototype tools, test them, and decide which series tool we want to produce. Then the construction of the series tool begins and, if desired, also the sampling.

Our Services

The feasibility study at the start of the project determines the cost-effectiveness of your product. On the basis of your ideas, your data and designs, we will show you the possibilities with which they can be implemented at the highest level of quality and in an economically sensible manner.

After the feasibility study, the actual phase of concept development begins. With regard to robustness, efficiency and safety in production, we translate your tool idea into a sustainable tool concept that fits smoothly into your production process and can guarantee maximum productivity and safety with minimum maintenance.

In order to validate the product and tool concept, it is possible to build prototype tools after the concept phase. Depending on your requests and requirements and depending on the required number of components, we can build range-, principle-, test- or small series tools for you - made of synthetic resin or aluminium. And we can also produce the corresponding prototype parts in our technical department.

The knowledge and experience gained from the construction of the prototype are taken into account in the development of the series tool. We develop and design the tool according to your specifications and build on the experience from the previous project steps, as well as on our many years of experience with comparable projects.

We always keep our production processes up to date. This includes the purchase of a new milling machine on average once a year. We are constantly expanding our capacity and replacing older systems. This guarantees the highest possible speed and quality, and reduces costly rework. This enables us to manufacture competitively in Germany. Our production is free of drawings and all our employees are trained in CAD, so that they can access the data from the assembly site. We no longer need elaborate production drawings.

What we do not manufacture ourselves, we obtain from proven, reliable partners. In the field of castings and milled parts, we have been working for many years with foundries that can guarantee us high-quality, shrinkage-free casting.

We can sample your tools in our own technical centre. Equipped with serial systems, it offers the option, for example, to sample foam tools in an automated process close to serial production. Together we decide whether final improvements are necessary, which can be implemented directly on site if necessary. This eliminates the need for costly tool transports.

Our employees have the necessary production know-how to determine the required process parameters, such as defining a suitable foaming line with a robot. Furthermore, we have the option of manufacturing complete pre-series prototype tools and prototypes without disturbing your production in the least.

For us, service means maintenance, servicing, repair and - if necessary - modification of your tools. We respond quickly and reliably to your inquiries and requests so that you can be satisfied with your tool throughout the entire life of the product.
