To precisely verify the dimensions of components and assemblies, automotive manufacturers in particular have so far required dozens of individual fixtures – a process that is costly, space-intensive and material-intensive. With highQcheck, we break through these rigid limits. It is our consistent response to the growing demands for flexibility, precision, speed and cost-efficiency in industrial quality assurance.
The base plate is ready with mounting frames positioned; hexapods and mountings are stored safely in the magazine.
The robot sets up the fixture. The hexapods are positioned fully automatically on the respective mounting frames in accordance with the assembly plan.
From the home position, the hexapods are moved into their precise working pose. This enables flexible manipulation within an extremely large working envelope.
The robot switches to the parallel gripper, retrieves the required mounts from the magazine and fits them onto the hexapods. To this end, the system draws on a library of standardised mountings that can be reused across projects; vehicle-specific special mountings are only added to the library if the geometry of the components requires it.
The assembled system is measured tactilely. The pose deviations determined in the process are recorded directly in the system; based on these correction values, the robot readjusts the hexapods to the corrected target pose.

In-line operation: Parts are loaded directly in accordance with the vehicle RPS. Measurement is carried out either flexibly by hand using a handheld scanner directly on the production line, or fully automatically by a high-precision robotic scanning head.
Process-oriented operation: An integrated shuttle system enables mobile deployment at various locations within your production facility, drastically increases the utilisation rate of the CNC measuring machine and reduces preparation time to a minimum.
Optimised working area: Thanks to precisely balanced adjustment parameters (such as extension lengths and the geometry of the joints), highQcheck guarantees unrestricted precision across the entire range of action.
Perfected load behaviour: Load behaviour in industrial applications is highly complex and depends on the 6DOF hexapod pose, the 7DOF load pose and the geometry of the clamping cartridges. Weischer calculates the diameter ratio and angular distribution with mathematical precision and, based on these parameters, selects the hexapod variant best suited to your specific application from the available options.
